Jean-Marc Johannes, a pro skateboarder and one of our hommies from Cape Town, South Africa, has just released a new street part video called “LeftField”. Mostly it was shot along 2022. Some people probably thought that he was mostly seen in international contests like FISE World and so on and so forth (like we did meet in China around 2018), he is also known as the most-awarded skater in 2021. But he is also passionate to have his own video part.

Jean-marc is no stranger to the street and filming video parts, after his debut video part on The RIDE channel view years back, when you see his Instagram is showcasing daily consistency and progression with a surprising bag of flatground tricks. The “LeftField” video was primarily filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, with some clips shot in China. Filming was done by Lyle Minnaar, Owen Wilson, Zaheer Ahmed, Moegammad Abrahams, and Mark Khor, and it was edited by Owen Wilson.

Complemented by the sounds of The Life on Venus band with a track off their new album “Homewards”, is a combination of great music, a well-rounded barrage of tricks with a next generation technical approach to skateboarding. Go watch the video and Enjoy!
